This year’s Danajamin Mighty Run, will be held at the Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam on Sunday, 8 December 2019 covering three (3) main categories; 1KM Autism Family Walk (RM35), 5KM Fun Run (RM50) and 10KM competitive run (RM80).
In keeping with the #feelthespectrum tagline introduced last year, the DMR this year will also feature several sensory activities covering four (4) senses (sight, hearing, smell and touch) along the 1KM Autism Walk, 5KM and 10KM running routes. This is to provide participants with a heightened sensory experience and awareness of activities that those on the spectrum enjoy, find relaxing and therapeutic.
This year, we are also introducing “plogging” to the walkers in the 1KM category. Plogging is a combination of jogging whilst picking up litter. As both an environmentally-friendly and healthy activity, it actually burns 100 more calories than simply jogging.
